Ready for Santa by Denny Lynn

Santa business is very serious business. I have been very concerned about Santa getting into Grandma's house without a chiminy. Mama told me we could leave him a magic key that would only work for Santa. We tied it with a pretty red ribbon.



Then we took it outside to find a place where Santa would be sure to see it. We hung it on the bench.

Once the key was in place, it was time for snacks, We left Santa chocolate chip cookies and a Diet Coke.

We set it all up with Keebler so Santa could pick him up to go back to the North Pole and leave our presents. Santa has been very good to us, so we wanted to be very good to Santa and make his job as easy as possible!
