The Magic Show by John Lee

It was finally time to party at my school! We had an ice cream social and magic show. We all had to bring stuff for ice cream. I wanted to take Vanilla Wafers (my favorite) so Mama helped me make cookie crumbs to go on top of the ice cream. We put the cookies in a bag, then I smashed 'em up! I started with the Wafers.
Then I did some chocolate chip cookies.

And finally some Oreos.
I was pretty proud to have made my own toppings to take.
We got there early for the show to get a good spot! I even got to meet the magician.

He used volunteers to do tricks, and I really wanted a turn - I listened and behaved and I got picked!
I got to help with a scarf trick.

He put two blue scarves tied together into the back of my shirt.

He put the red scarf in the bag and it disappeared - then it reappeared in my shirt between the two blue ones! I am a really good assistant, but I can't wait to do my own tricks!
It was so fun to watch the show.
I picked an ice cream sandwich for snack.
Denny got to come, too, so it was a family affair! I can't wait until the next magic show, until then I will just keep eating ice cream.

Happy Easter by Denny Lynn

We started off Easter Sunday seeing what the Easter Bunny brought!
We both got cool stuff!
Including a remote control dinosaur and a new toothbrush.

We each also got a new Lego set. To put it together, we each had to find our eggs - blue for me and yellow for John - the Lego pieces were hidden in the eggs!
It was quite a search!

Once we found them all we could build our hero sets!
Then it was time to get dressed up for church! We started off with matching shirts and pants, but John and I added our own personalities to the outfits!

We make a pretty handsome duo!
That night we had Easter dinner with ham and bunny cake for dessert! It was a great day with lots of fun and time spent remembering what Easter really means - Jesus died on the cross for me - then he came back to life on Easter Sunday!
I hope you all had a great Easter like we did!

Happy Birthday, Robby by John Lee

Robby is on our soccer team. He is lots of fun, so when we got invited to his birthday party we were glad to go! He had it at gym with all kinds of fun things to try! There was a foam pit...
...with a trampoline to jump to it.

They even had a rope to swing out over the pit. I loved it! I swung and swung and swung!

Denny finally decided to try it - once he did he liked it! I had no fear from the beginning!
We had fun with our soccer friends.

You can never go wrong with pizza and cake!
It was a Spiderman party, so we got fun masks and goody bags to take home. The evening was made complete when a train went by outside and the whole party stopped to watch it. Such a fun night with new friends!

Soccer, Soccer by Denny Lynn

I love soccer. I have had a good season - really learning how to play better and work with my team. I have liked being part of the Ninjas. Here are some pictures of me at my games.

I play hard - sometimes that means I fall hard, but I am good at getting back up! I am learning that when you get frustrated you play harder and always try your best. I can't wait to try more things!
