Bible Verses by Denny Lynn

Daddy found a list of the Bible verses everyone should know. There is one for every week for the year. We have already started learning them. We made cards, one for each verse.

I like learning new things, especially new things about the Bible. I can't wait until I can recite all my verses!

My Dunny by Denny Lynn

I am doing a great job working with my horse, Dunny. He is a buckskin that I am hoping to show in the near future. I took a couple of long rides on him for Spring Break and we are learning to work together!

I even let John ride him sometimes. He is a good horse and we are glad to have him!

More Soccer by Denny Lynn

I really like soccer. For our last game, John was sick and couldn't play, so I had to represent the Turners! I did a great job working with my team and staying on the ball!

Happy St Patrick's Day by John Lee

I love making treats to share. I was suppose to use Skittles, but when I saw that Denny had M&M's, I insisted on using chocolate! I made Rainbow Seeds. First I sorted out all the brown M&M's - there is no brown in the rainbow. I gave all the brown ones to Daddy.
Next I used the scoop to fill each little bag.

Mama helped by putting on the tags. They came out pretty cute and really yummy!
I was so excited to take them to school, I could barely let Mama take a picture!
It was a fun St Patrick's Day!

Happy St Patrick's Day by Denny Lynn

I am so glad we had another holiday! I got to pick a treat to make for my friends to celebrate St Patrick's Day. I chose pretzel shamrocks.
First we put out the pretzels....
...next we put one Hershey kiss on each pretzel.
I carried them to the oven (Mama put them in because it was hot).
Then I waited.....
...while I waited, I sorted out all the green M&M's to make shamrock leaves.
Finally, the kisses were melty. I put three M&M's on each one and added a pretzel stick for a stem.
After they set (Mama put them in the freezer to speed it up) all that was left was quality control! They were yummy.
Once they were set really hard, I put them each in a little bag - two per friend.
The tag says "Lucky to have you for a friend, Happy St. Patrick's Day; from, Denny"
On St Patty's Day I was all decked out and ready to share with my friends! I didn't get pinched!

More Soccer by John Lee

I decided to be excited for my next soccer game! We played the Mermaids and I discovered I like flirting with little girls! We got all geared up to play!

And we played!

I liked cheering for my team and I even got to kick the ball a couple of times. I provided entertainment for the sidelines!

Cowboy Days by Denny Lynn

We love when Cowboy Days comes to town! This year we took a trip to the Horse Farm first and checked out the new fools.

We even stopped to visit my old horse Dude....
...and practice reading his papers.
After a picnic lunch, it was off to Cowboy Days! We visited the Horseman's Club (College Kids) and painted a horse shoe.
Mine was blue, of course!
Then we got to use stamps and colors to decorate a bag to put it in.

Next we tried to rope the bull!

John got him and drug him down!
We walked through the exhibits and checked out the animals.
It was a fun family day to just be together.

We picked up our horseshoes and headed out.
Just outside the main entrance were these two beautiful owls. We hooted at them.
We took a minute to play and then loaded up again.

Cowboy Days are never long enough and we didn't have time to do all the fun things, but we are already planning for next year!
