6 Months Old Today! by John Lee

It is very exciting to be six months old! I am officially mobile - even if I don't really "crawl", I can get around. I steal Bubba's toys and even chase the dogs.
I am so interested in everything that Mama got out the round pen to keep me contained - Denny even came in to hang out with me.
I finally have a tooth coming through, but it is way in the back instead of the front, so I surprised everybody! Life is so good - I laugh and smile all the time!

A Trip to Grandma’s by Denny Lynn

This weekend we made a special trip to Grandma’s so Daddy could take Lilly to the sale in Roswell. I was sad to have to sell Lilly, but glad to go and visit Grandma & Grandpa. Ma & Pa came to see us, too. I did lots of fun things, including playing in the water hose!
I even ate Mama’s lemon at lunch.
John tried out the Doggie Door on the back porch and I thought that was really funny!
I was sad to leave, but know I will be back soon and I look forward to visiting my other grandparents in Oklahoma!

Happy Father’s Day by Denny Lynn

I love Father’s Day and even though I kept telling everyone “Happy Mother’s Day” I knew who we were celebrating. I gave them the trains I made and I am excited to be taking Papa his soon.
I had so much fun and gave my Daddy his presents and Father’s Day sugars. He had to work all day fixing our air conditioner, so he needed all the sugars he could get!

My first Father’s Day was a success! I saw Grandpa and Pa and I will be going to see Papa very soon. They all got pictures of me – what a thoughtful gift! I am so blessed to have such wonderful examples in my life!

Vacation Bible School by Denny Lynn

I love VBS! Mama was in charge and Daddy was teaching, so I was there every night! There was a special class just for my size! We had four and Ms. Cindy was our teacher.

We made stuff and played and had stories. We even had a string to hold onto. When I was the leader I would yell “Come on, Cowboys” so that everyone knew it was time to go.

Since it was a western theme Daddy brought our horses to meet everyone. We had stick horse races and fun western snacks.

At the end of the week we got certificates and goody bags. Mine had a horse in it just for me to play with.

Mostly I liked playing with Caleb – we are the best of friends and I already miss seeing him every day. I asked Mama just last night to take me to Bible School, but she said we would have to go later. I hope later comes fast! I was really tired at the end, but only because I had such a great time!

Vacation Bible School by John Lee

I got to go to my very first Bible School! I was the only one in the nursery, so Ms. Yvette took me all over.
I watched the other kids play and even got in a few ZZZ’s.
Since I attended every night I got my very own certificate, but I was more interested in my bottle than any ole certificate. I can’t wait for next year’s Bible School!

My Bubba by John Lee

I love my brother. He shares his toys with me and when he doesn’t want to share with me, he gives me a new toy to play with. We have lots of laughs together.

Fun & Games by Denny Lynn

I can make anything fun! For instance you may think a walker is for babies, but I know better.
What is for big boys is the train table at the Railroad Museum. I love it – Mama took me back to visit and though we stayed 45 minutes, I still didn’t want to go home! I can’t wait to go back and “see trains” again.

Story Time and Birthday Fun by Denny Lynn

For Holly’s real birthday we went to story time at Barnes and Noble. Mama came, too. It is way fun. They read us stories and we get to color.

I like the Thomas Train Table best. I could play there for hours! I even share the trains with the other kids.

After story time we went to Burger King for a fun lunch and play time.

We even got crowns to wear. It was a really fun day!

My Train Puzzle by Denny Lynn

Daddy had gotten me a train puzzle, but we hadn’t had time to paint it. I still liked taking it apart and putting it back together, but it needed color.

Finally, me and Daddy got together and painted it to look like Thomas – now it is even more fun!

My Recliner by John Lee

I have discovered a grand thing. Every man should have a recliner. I use the boppy for mine. A cold one (bottle that is) and I can kick back and relax.

Happy Birthday, Holly by Denny Lynn

Holly is 4! Me and John got to go to her very special gymnastics birthday party! John didn’t do gymnastics, but I did! Here I am running and telling everyone “I am running!”
There was a bouncy to jump in and fun things like the balance beam and foam pit. I am fuzzy in some of these pictures because I wasn't still the whole party!
I like to go across the beam like riding a horse.
Holly’s Uncle Stephen even threw us into the foam pit – it was like flying!
We had fun with all our friends.
We even had the opportunity to fly - here is Holly in the air.
I didn't want to do that, but Coach Rick let me "ride the elevator" by holding on the the rope when the person flying came down. That was pretty fun!
I got Holly a fancy belt and belt buckle with her initial on it – I was so proud when we wrapped it! I really wanted to give it to her, so I thought I would unwrap it so I could – but she didn’t like that too much.
Once she got to open it she really liked her present! We each got our own red, white and blue backpack with goodies - like star sunglasses - in it and a picture of Holly. It was a great time! I am so glad Holly is turning 4!

Pizza Man by Denny Lynn

While Daddy was gone for work, Mama and me made homemade pizza. It was really fun and dee-licious! It shows all over my face how much I liked it!

Orange Food Rocks! by John Lee

So far l like to eat pretty much anything, but the orange stuff is my favorite. Sweet potatoes and carrots are the greatest! I also like green beans and most fruits, but just give me the orange stuff and I will be happy!

Workin’ On Father’s Day by Denny Lynn

Father’s Day is coming up and I have a special gift for Daddy, Papa, Grandpa and Pa (Shhh!! Don’t tell – it is a surprise!) I colored them each a train to hang on the wall. Mama is going to help me put my picture in the window like an engineer. I did a really good job and made each one a different color. I can’t wait to give them away!
