The Yearbook Contest, by Denny Lynn

This year students can submit cover designs for the yearbook and one will be picked to be on the book. I really wanted to do it, but was worried about drawing a tiger, so Mama printed a tiger for me and I did the rest!
We used a plate to make a rounded edge where I could write, then we used a bottle cap to trace circles for paws.
I outlined little ovals to make the toes and then colored everything in our school colors - black and orange!
I colored the tiger and glued  him on. I was very proud of how it came out! I hope I win, but Mama said she can put it in my personalized book even if I don't win. It was good practice for making pictures and using tools to layout a design. So fun!
