Mama got to go to Albuquerque for work, so Daddy took us along! We went on New Year's Day - as always we were excited to stay in a hotel and get to go swimming!
When Mama was done 4-H'in we went to ride the sky tram. You get to go way up in the sky!
We got our tickets and loaded up.
The higher we went, the more we got into the clouds.
We were excited to see all the snow on the mountain.
We had lunch in a cloud! Complete with hot chocolate!
It was snowy and cold way up there.
But, it made for a fun family outing.
This is the tram we rode in coming down. It had great views on all sides.
You can see the city in the distance - this is from the visitor center - it was too foggy to see down off the top of the mountain.
We checked out the ski museum before we headed home.
We got even more up close and personal with snow at the rest stop between Socorro and T or C. It was coming down in big flakes and lots of it!
We had a really fun trip for our mini-vacation!
