Keeping Up with Keebler by Denny Lynn

Keebler is the coolest elf I know. He goes to see Santa each night and make his report, but then he gets bored and starts messing around! He gave himself googly eyes - and put them on all our pictures!

Because we love Power Rangers, Keebler loves them, too! He dressed up as his favorite Ranger - red, of course!
John asked Santa for a white Christmas tree (he saw one in Wal Mart and fell in love). So Keebler brought it - but he dressed it like a snowman with ornament eyes and a ribbon mouth. He even brought along some snow to go with it!

Keebler also added ornaments to our tree. He put our pictures in frames and of course, he included one of himself! He is part of our family after all.
Keebler even got to bring a new friend! Santa sent a reindeer scout in training to work with Keebler. His name is Kemosabe - the perfect reindeer for us since we love The Lone Ranger!
Keebler played a little football with Turkey Romo (my turnkey in disguise). I was glad, because I had whispered to him that I would really like for him to play football. Kemosabe had some trouble with the ball - maybe he should be a kicker!
Keebler and Kemosabe brought us several books to open - one each night until Christmas. Kemosabe liked the taste of the paper. We opened that one first.

They tried to help Mama out by packing our lunches - I guess they packed what they like - donuts, syrup and candy! Kemosabe even ate the Tootsie Rolls!
They took our western play town and set up their own Lone Ranger - complete with costumes!
Keebler was the Lone Elf, but being an elf, he wore a red hat.
Kemosabe made a pretty good Tonto! They were just like me and John at Halloween!
I get up excited each morning to see what Keebler is into!
