Visiting Grants by Denny Lynn

After all the Oklahoma fun and a fond farewell to our family there, it was back to work! This time it was to Grant, NM for a District 4-H Contest. The real excitement was that we had a hotel with a pool! 

We had a great time swimming! John was glad he would get to swim, since he was too little to do swim lessons with us. It was also the most fun, because Daddy got to be with us!

We took turns warming up in the hot tub and swimming in the pool.

It was good swimming!

And it was good jumping! We really liked jumping off the side for Daddy to catch us, but you have to watch John. Sometimes he would jump with no one there to catch him!

Happy swimmers make for happy faces!

We wore our 4-H t-shirts in honor of the 4-H contest.

While Daddy was doing horse stuff, we kept ourselves entertained with a trip to WalMart! We rode a tractor...

...watched some fish...

and then got some cool happy face clings at the dollar store for the trip home. It was a fun day, maybe we will go back to Grants again sometime!
