Sring Has Sprung by Denny Lynn

Spring has sprung and so have our chickens! We had two dozen eggs in the incubator at Ms. Darcy's. We hatched 15 baby chicks! All different colors - black, brown and yellow. The first one was a little black one I named Bear.

 As more came, we needed more names. When it was John's turn he named his Elmo - Holly's was named Pokey Princess. Then we had all the Toy Story characters - Buzz, Woody, etc. Holly named the last one Potato!

 It was fun to learn about chickens. They started out as eggs:

 And ended up as Baby Chicks! This week they are going to a new home that I know they will love, but we will miss them!
