Mammoth Cave is the biggest cave in the world! They have all kinds of tours, but we decided we just wanted to walk in the main entrance. It was a cool morning and we had to dress for the cave.
Even though John told us caves are dangerous, we went in!
It was a long way down.
We could see the remains of a mine and the tools left by men who had discovered the cave.
We checked everything out. They even turned the lights out so we could see what total darkness looked like.
We liked checking out the cave and seeing what it was all about. Now we need to plan a trip to our cave - the Carlsbad Caverns!
