We have been begging to go fishing. They told us we could fish in the Green River that runs through the Park, so we packed up our fishing poles and headed out. Daddy got us all ready to fish.
We decided to fish at the boat dock at Houghton's Ferry. The ferry doesn't run anymore.
We found tons butterflies - all sizes, including these big yellow ones.
Then it was time to fish!
And we fished.
And fished.
Then we had a picnic lunch.
And fished some more. No catching this time - we think we had the wrong bait, but it was definitely fishing and fun! And it was good practice - you have to fish a lot before you catch.
