You might remember that I won a Gingerbread House kit at the Christmas party with the college kids. We have been so busy, we didn't have time to build it, so Mama packed it up and took it with us to build with Grandpa. We had a hard time being patient and waiting for the icing to set so we could decorate it, but we finally made it.
We used teamwork to put the candies on and make the house look all Christmasy. We only ate a couple.
It took time and patience to get all the candy on just right.
And a little reinforcement to keep it from falling over. It was a fun project and we were very proud of it when it was done. It was especially fun to do it with Grandpa. I am thinking next year we need two stories!
