It is that time of year - time to harvest the pecans! Me and Denny got to help Mama and Daddy pick them up from around our trees. We used the "sticks" and our buckets to help gather.
I was ready and willing to help! It was fun to be outside and I figured out pretty quick how to pick up pecans and put them in the containers. Everyone will know which ones I picked up, because I licked them clean before putting them in the bucket!
The best part of picking up pecans was riding in the wagon. It was my job to hold down the pecans and I was good at it! It was a fun family project and I made $2 for my piggy bank!
