Birthday Dinner by Denny Lynn

We have a tradition of going to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa the night before our birthday party. John added to the tradition this year by asking to go to Texas Roadhouse and sit on the saddle (Mama might have facilitated this in an effort to avoid pizza dinner with a mouse, but I have no proof.) Anyway - peanuts, bread and good company make for a great birthday dinner!

I worried the whole time about when I would get to sit on the saddle! Finally it was time and I got a big "Yee Haw" for turning 5!

We even got a special surprise! There was a guy there doing balloon animals! How cool is that! John got a yellow tiger.

I had him make me a blue horse. It was lots of fun to celebrate getting older.
