November means time for our pilgrimage to Oklahoma. This year, Daddy had a meeting in Portales, so we stopped off for a visit. We drove down Sesame Street and then toured around the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds. They have a great windmill display - it isn't done yet, but it is still pretty impressive.
They also have really nice benches and special places donated in the memory of people who helped the fair. We really liked this horseshoe swing.
They have a big new horse arena with bleachers and fences to climb.
We even got to sit on the bulldozer - though for some reason no one would turn in on. It was fun to see all the stuff and stretch our legs before the drive! A special thanks to Miss Connie and Mr. Patrick for showing us around!
