Delivering Rose by Denny Lynn

Holly's Grandma Kathy gave her a turtle. Her name is Rose and she is a really neat turtle. Since we are sure the dogs would eat it, and Holly doesn't have a turtle pen, they asked if we would take Rose to Uncle Rex's house to live with the other turtles. So, we picked Rose up and took her to her new home. 

We were glad to see Emerick and Etienne were there. Etienne checked out the turtles with us. We counted (it was easy since Kristian and Kyle had numbered them!) With the addition of Rose there are 17 turtles!

Rose really liked her new home and she went right up to the other turtles. Holly painted a red flower and her name on her shell so that when she comes to visit she will be able to find her Rose! I am ready for a field trip to take Holly for a visit!
