Out to Lunch by John Lee

Ms. Darcy took some vacation last Friday, so me and Denny got out of school early. Mama took us to meet Daddy for lunch. It was fun, I even tasted Mama’s lemon

I got my own order of mashed potatoes, and man did I have mashed potatoes – I couldn’t believe the mound they brought out just for little ole me!

Denny had a burger and fries but I know my potatoes were better. It was a fun time and a special treat to get to hand out in the middle of the day.
