Happy Easter by John Lee

Easter is here! The Easter Bunny made it to our house. He brought us new shoes, a new book and a new friend! I got Lightening McQueen.
Denny got Rex from Toy Story.
He hid eggs for us, too. Yellow eggs for me and blue eggs for Denny.
Once we checked everything out...

...the hunt was on!

We found goodies in our eggs - bubble gum and tootsie rolls! And a few coins!

It was fun to find new stuff and enjoy our Easter morning!

Then we headed out to church to celebrate what Easter is really all about!

Thank you, Lord for sending your Son!

The Egg Hunt by Denny Lynn

We got to celebrate with some Easter family fun! We went to Uncle Rex and Aunt Lynette's to hunt for Easter eggs!

I found the golden egg!
We even got to hunt twice!
All the eggs had money or candy in them for special treats.
There were cookies and other goodies for treats, too!
The best part was time with family!

And, of course we had to check out the turtles while we were there!

We are so blessed to have family close by to share special days with!

Easter Treats by Denny Lynn

Easter snuck up on us this year, but I still got treats made for my class! I love marshmallows, so I fixed each friend a bag of marshmallows!

We added a Bunny Tail tag that said: "More lucky than a rabbit's foot and more tasty, too! Have a very Happy Easter!"
I made my teacher a special Easter Basket. We used boxes of candy to make the sides...
...and added a poster board bottom.
Some Easter grass for padding and then the Peeps on top!

We have so many blessings, it is nice to be able to share with my class!

Easter Treats by John Lee

Easter came early this year! But that didn't stop me from making treats for my friends and teachers.
I made Peep baskets for my teachers. We used little Hershey bars to make the basket - we stuck them together with glue dots.
Then a little Easter grass and a colored Twizzler for a handle.
Finally in with the Peeps.

We made the handles match the Peeps inside! Some ribbon and a tag and they are ready to go!
I made cotton tails for my friends! We used cotton candy to make round "tails". The tags say: "More lucky than a rabbit's foot and more tasty, too! Have a very Happy Easter."

I like to share with my friends and celebrate Easter!!

Easter Pictures by John Lee

Mama likes to send Easter cards to friends and family. This year she had the idea to dress us up in our Easter outfits and take us to the baby lambs. Playing with the lambs was enough incentive to get us to take the photos.
There were several kinds and I wanted to catch them all!

Denny found one that was really sweet and let him hold it.
Mama caught mine, but I held on!
Once they figured out we weren't a food source, they lost interest in us.
Denny had to see about the Dorpers before we left.

We petted them and told them all goodbye before going home.
The cards came out pretty good and it was super fun to get to play with the lambs!
Happy Easter!
