Happy Birthday, Emerick by John Lee

They grow up so fast! We got to celebrate with cousin Emerick for his 2nd birthday! It was a fun time at the bouncy house!

And of course cake and presents! I know what 2 year olds like, so I took him a backpack I picked out myself!

We had lots of fun and took a quick spin on the carousal before heading home. I so blessed to have special cousins who get a year older and include us in the fun!

Fun at Grandma's by Denny Lynn

We love to stay at Grandma's house while Mama and Daddy are working. Grandma and Grandpa try to keep us busy and out of trouble. It doesn't always work.

We like to visit Ma and Pa, too!
And playing around in the kitchen...

...doing puzzles....
...and riding bicycles!
Thank you, Grandma & Grandpa for taking such good care of us!

Water Time by John Lee

Water time at Grandpa's is one of our favorite things! We splish and splash and slide all day long!

We tried to squirt Grandpa with our water swords, but it backfired, just a little!

We did manage to clean the trampoline, so there was some work in all that fun!

An Adventure by Denny Lynn

Grandma and Grandpa took us out on an adventure while we were at their house! It was a great hike.
We got our canteens all fixed up and ready to go.
We checked out the visitor center to learn about the area and which way to go.

Then we were off on our adventure. We found lots of cool things to check out. It was a fun outing.

We always find neat stuff to see and do!

Stopping at Uncle Shawn's by John Lee

Since Mama and Daddy had work stuff the end of May, we got to go home with Grandma and Grandpa. We met up in Ruidoso this time, and that meant we could stop over and visit Uncle Shawn and Aunt Tabitha! It was fun checking everything out.

Uncle Shawn has lots of cool boy toys, and yet we managed to leave with all our fingers and toes - we didn't even put an eye out!
It was fun to get to visit, even if it was just for a little while.

Goodbye School, Hello Summer by John Lee

With school winding down and summer winding up, it is time to say goodbye to friends and thank you to my teachers (my teachers need a really BIG THANK YOU!). We got fun clappers for my friends. I tested them out and they work great!
We used a glue dot to stick them on a card.
I was good at this part.
The card says "You Deserve a Hand! Congratulations on a Great School Year, Have a Fun Filled Summer!"

Next we made something special for my teachers! I sorted the drink mixes by type to make them easy to count.
Then we put some of each into these great summer cups Mama found.
Put on the lid and add the tag - and TA-DA - thank you teachers! This tag said "Thank You for Quenching my Thirst for Knowledge!" See how much I have learned - how many three year olds do you know that use the word "quenched".
I have grown and learned so much this year and I am so thankful for my teachers and friends.

Goodbye School, Hello Summer by Denny Lynn

I am ready for summer! I get to be in the school age class with the big kids and I can't wait! I wanted to say goodbye to my school friends and thank my teachers. We used the graduation pops and fruit rollup diplomas from my graduation party to make cards for my friends. I helped tape on the suckers and fruit rollups.

The says "Congratulations on a Job Well Done. Have a Great Summer".
Mama gave me a choice of things to give my teachers and I wanted to do candles. We used letter stickers to put on initials - I did big candles for my lead teachers and little candles for the others.

The tag says "Thank You for Lighting Up My Learning". I was so proud to take everything to school!
Bring on summertime!
