A Real Live Snowman! by Denny Lynn

We finally got our snow! Mama says it will probably be a year before we have any more, so I am glad we enjoyed it!
We headed out to build an snowman - this involved rounding up snow from around the yard.

We checked around under our tree for some twigs to make arms.
While we waited for Daddy, we made some snow angels.

I added a face to mine!
Daddy brought us a wheelbarrow load of snow from the back.
We added snow by the bucket full.
It tool lots of patting and shaping...
...but he began to become a snowman!
He had a carrot nose and blue milk jug eyes!
Top him off with a hat and we have Frosty!
We were pretty proud and he lasted a couple of days. We still miss him and have to check is spot every couple of days, but we have some pictures and great memories of our fun in the snow!

The Big Kid Class by John Lee

January 2nd means back to school! I am so excited, because now that I am a three year old I get to go to the big kid class with Denny! I got all my stuff together and went right in to find my new hanger peg.
Then I put my nap stuff up with the mats.
Denny showed me where to wash my hands and we were off to face the day!
I started out with puzzles. Even though I told Mama I would miss her while she was at work, I know she will come get me at the end of the day and I have exciting things to learn and new friends to make in my new class!

Vacation Days by Denny Lynn

Some people are a little sad when Christmas is over - we were still excited! We had more days off from school and tons of new stuff to explore! I love playing with my new "tracks" from Colton and Cady - I put mine and John's together and we have a big racetrack.
We took my new tracks, John's new tracks and some tracks we already had an made a whole train city!

We played together for hours! Until it was time to take a break and gas up all the trains.
Daddy helped me put my new Legos together - it made a Police car with a policeman and a criminal!
John played and learned with his robot (and everything else he could!)
Mama put together our cardboard train - it is 6 feet long and perfect to get in! We have been coloring for days!

John likes to gas it up before we hit the tracks!
Daddy set up our John Wayne town - we added a few more horses and cows and recreated the Old West while we watched The Sacketts on tv.

Finally, we wore Mama down and got to open the Play Doh - between John's birthday and Christmas we had some great construction toys to build cool stuff.

We have so enjoyed all our new stuff! We hate to see vacation end, but we do miss our friends and Mama and Daddy need to go back to work and rest.

Happy Anniversary, Mama and Daddy by Denny Lynn

There is always more to celebrate! Mama and Daddy have been married 7 years. John and I weren't at the wedding because we were still up in Heaven with God, but we are here now! We got to go out to dinner with Mama and Daddy on New Year's Eve.

I took this picture of them after we ate. We had a good time and brought the new year in as a family! Happy Anniversary, Mama and Daddy!

Christmas Day by Denny Lynn

Santa didn't forget me - all that planning really worked. I got just what I asked for! A Spin and Fix Thomas, a remote control Thomas and much more!
I even shared my new toys with John (mostly so that I could play with his stuff, but it still counts).
I loved figuring out how to make everything work...
...and finding hidden treasure in my stocking!
Christmas Day was a day of blessings with plenty of time to play with my new stuff and be thankful for all that I have.
We called Aunt Judy and Uncle Jeff and Nana and Papa to say Merry Christmas - we wish we could all be together, but I am really glad I could call and talk to them and tell them that I love them!
Ma and Pa came for lunch and completed our extra special day! I am already trying to count how many days until Christmas next year!

Christmas Day by John Lee

Santa came! He brought just what I asked for - a space station and trains with tracks. My space station even has an elevator to take the astronauts up and down!
My stocking was full of goodies, too!
Christmas Day was officially PLAY DAY!

We took sometime out to call those we love who are far away from us and tell them Merry Christmas!
And we cooked up a little lunch to celebrate the holiday!
I had such a wonderful Christmas, I wish it could come everyday, but then I don't know when I would sleep for all the excitement!
