Happy Birthday, Beau by Denny Lynn

Beau is two! We went to his bouncy ball party to help celebrate! Mama was gone, but Daddy took us and it was a great party. Thank you to Ms. Denise for taking pictures of us!
We enjoyed Beaus's slide and spy glass...
...not too mention swinging!
We got goal goody boxes with bouncy balls inside.
And had tons of fun in the ball pit! We are so blessed to have Beau for a friend and so glad we could help him celebrate his birthday.

Mummy Dogs by John Lee

We sent Denny out to work with Daddy and I helped Mama fix a fun supper! We made mummy dogs in honor of Halloween. First you take refrigerator crescent rolls and slice them into stripes.
Next come the hot dogs! Be sure you have some to wrap and one to eat!
Wrap the stripes of crescent around the hot dog like a mummy!
Then bake them up nice and golden brown! They were probably yummy, but since I was already full of hot dog, I didn't eat any - but they sure were cute and fun to make with Mama!

The Barn by Denny Lynn

When Daddy was a little boy, his Papa made him a toy barn, complete with a corral, working hay loft and stalls.
We were able to bring it home. Daddy has been working to fix it up so it would be sturdy enough for us to play with. Finally we get to play!
We brought out all the horses and spent some time learning to work the hay hook.
It is on a pulley system so we can pick up the hay bale, pull it into the loft and release it.
We even have little hay bales that Great-Papa made.
It is pretty amazing and a very special toy. We have a little more fixing to do, and we have to play careful, but we get very excited to get out the barn!

Dad's Night Out by John Lee

We had a Dad's Night Out for school. I had to share Daddy with Denny, but I was glad to take him and show off what I do all day - I was REALLY glad to go to McDonald's for dinner on the way!
I had pumpkins and pictures on the wall just to show off!

Daddy let me take a picture of us in the mirror - you can see my classroom in the background and my teacher Ms Rose Marie!
Next we went to Denny's class. Denny helped me make a rocket ship and I got to play with the big kid toys! It was pretty fun "boy" time- no Mamas allowed!

Dad's Night Out by Denny Lynn

My new school had a special Dad's Night Out for us to bring our dads to see what we do at school. We took a special trip to McDonald's to have snack before heading back to school.
It was Yummmmy!
Mama forced Daddy to take the camera, so we got a few pictures. This is me in my room - I made my face and my planet Earth - you can see the sun and the moon!
Then I helped John make a rocket ship like I made in class. It was exciting to show Daddy all the fun things I do and how much I am learning in my school!

Build and Grow Ghoul Bus by Denny Lynn

Yea for Lowes! I love going to build things at Build and Grow. This time it was even a Halloween project! We made a Ghoul Bus!
I made mine mostly by myself - Mama just helped hammer in the nails real good so they would be flat.
Then Uncle Rex helped me finish out with the stickers. It turned out great!
We waited for Etienne to finish his and then we raced!

It was fun to see family and to get to build something cool! I hope to go back soon!

Build and Grow Ghoul Bus by John Lee

Back to Build and Grow! We haven't gotten to go to Lowes in a while, but finally we are back to it! This week's project was a Ghoul Bus for Halloween!
I was very concerned with putting on the wheels, but Mama made me wait and do all the other steps first.
Uncle Rex was there, too and he helped me put on my stickers! We had "ghouls" to put in the bus!
I am so glad Uncle Rex was there to help! It was a cool project to add to my collection.
