Graduation Celebration by John Lee

I survived Pre-K! To celebrate my graduation we threw a party. Grandma and Grandpa came over and got a hotel room! We got to use the pool and sleep over!

Then it was party time! I love yellow, so we had a yellow graduation party!

Everyone got a graduation duck to take home.

I got a dog that everyone signed and a scrapbook for my graduation cards!

Of course, there was yummy food to share!

We had the party at a new fun place - an indoor playground with tons of fun rooms, like a playhouse and even a fire station!

I was excited to be graduating ans to have a party in my honor!

Cupcakes and ice cream all around!

There was also a bounce house, costumes and lots of themed play areas.

Mama survived PreK, too! I am really proud of her!

There were even some presents - just what I wanted.

Even some stuff to get ready for Kindergarten!

Such a special day - I can't wait until I graduate from high school...

Happy Mother's Day by Denny Lynn

Mother's Day is a special day! We celebrated with Mama. I made her a necklace with my thumbprints and a card.

John made a card and planted a flower for her.

May is crazy busy, but we are glad we had a day to celebrate Mom! Wish we could have had Nana, Granny, Grandma and Ma with us, too!

Hidalgo County 4-H Horse Show by Denny Lynn

I love to horse show! I don't get to go as often as I would like. When we do go, it is important to do the work and be ready - not just get me ready, but Dunny, too!

Here are some pictures of me and Dunny at the show. We did every class they would let us do!

I really like trail. You get to do cool stuff, like open and close the gate, go over and through obstacles, and even go backwards.

Ribbons and goodies and a great day with friends, who could ask for more!

I really appreciate all the work everyone did to make the horse show a fun day for us!

A 4-H Horse Show by John Lee

We traveled to Lordsburg for a fun-filled day of horse showing. Normally, the iPad is my favorite thing about a horse show...

but this time they had classes just for me! I took Dolly to ride in all the Leadline classes.

I got to ride and Daddy lead me through the patterns.

I answered all the judges questions.

I even got to do a trail class and run the barrels!

In the end I got as ribbon and a goody bag. I asked if I could have the red one because I like red and it was special! They said sure.

I even got a 4-H umbrella as a prize! My very own umbrella to block the sun!

It was a pretty great day with friends and family all around!

Walk for Heart by Denny Lynn

My school sponsored a walk on the river to remind everyone to get healthy and take care of your heart! We took the whole family, even the dogs!

We signed in and we were off!

There were stations all along the walking path for you to stop and do exercises or learn fun facts about health!

Everyone was worn out at the end of the walk, but it was a great family outing!

We stopped off for some more fun in the park sponsored by the City of Las Cruces. I loved the giant Jenga game!
