Happy Birthday, Emerick by Denny Lynn

Emerick is getting older! He had a Spongebob party, complete with a water gun war. We had a blast shooting the cousins!

We ended up really wet.

We played all kinds of games.

Of course there were cupcakes and ice cream!

I hope Emerick liked all his gifts!

Everyone enjoyed the pinata. We each took a turn pulling a ribbon to get the candy out.

I even got to eat a Krusty Crab Burger! We had a great day with family and wish Emerick an exciting year!

Summertime at Grandma's by John Lee

We got to kick off summer with a little time in Carlsbad. Grandpa had the pool all ready for us!

I helped Grandma make homemade ice cream to share with Uncle Shawn and Aunt Tabby.

I made mine chocolate.

Denny stuck with vanilla!

Then the water fight was on! We had squirters and water balloons!

Everyone ended up a little wet.

There was plenty of time to hang out....

Denny watched the races...

And we picked tomatoes from the garden.

I even collected more rocks for my rock garden.

It was a fun trip. I am glad Mama got to come along and see all the cool things we get to do at Grandma's house.

End of School Celebration Breakfast by John Lee

I was done with school,, but Denny still had to go, so Mama took me to celebrate with breakfast at Cracker Barrel! My Favorite!! I even got the game all to myself!

Can you say "PANCAKES"?

I love pancakes and breakfast with Mama! What a great way to celebrate the end of school!

Checkers with a full belly is a perfect way to end the party!

Last Day of Kinder by Denny Lynn

I have had so much fun this year! I can't believe kindergarten is over. You can see how much I have grown since the first day back in August.

This year I learned to read, do math, hatch chicks and so many more things!

Kindergarten is also the year that Baxter came to live with us.

On the last day, I got to take down my paws for clipping all the way up to the principal.

I was sad to say goodbye to Ms. V and Ms. Tellez, but I know next year they will be just down the hall.

Everyone was ready for summer, but I know I will miss my friends, and the homework. Luckily I have new homework books to work on all summer.

Addie and I made it through. We even get to be in 1st grade together next year!

On my way out I stopped to tell the principal goodbye and have a good summer.

Summer will have to be pretty awesome to be as good as Kindergarten!

Awards Night by John Lee

At the end of the school year we have awards night with an ice cream social. We all get to sing for our parents and we watch the preK kiddos graduate. I had so much fun this year! I got to sit with my friends Jacob and my class.

When it was time to sing, I sang every song and did all the motions!!

I waited and waited for my name to be called.

I got my certificate with pictures of me on it!

Mama had a special book made to show all the things I did this year. I love it - it is all about me!!

I love having Ms. Patsy for a teacher and I know I will miss her when I start Pre K.

Finally, it was time for ice cream! I had a pretty good year at school and I grew bunches! I feel so blessed to have a wonderful place to go everyday - even on the days I don't want to go. I can't wait to see what the next year brings.
