Fairacres Field Day by Denny Lynn

I have been waiting since August for Field Day and it finally came! I was so excited! My class got all ready and stretched.

Then we lined up to wait our turn to race!

Mrs. V helped me remember what I needed to do. Run fast to the end!

My first race was the 50 yard dash! I ran hard and got 2nd place.

Then I ran the 100 yard dash.

This time I ran even harder and just kept going to win 1st place!

We got to do the field events just for fun as a class. I tried out the jump rope.

And the tricycles.

We had lots of fun as a class doing all the different things!

I tossed for the softball throw...

...and I was a master at the sack race! I demonstrated for the class how to do it.

I even helped Mrs. Tellez get into her sack so she could race with Mrs. V.

For my last event, I was selected to be on our classes relay team. I ran really hard again, but we were a little slow on our handoffs.

We came in 4th - it was fun to be part of a team.

Mama and Daddy both came to watch me and then they took me out for ice cream! What a fun day!

Kinder Movie Night by Denny Lynn

My Kindergarten class went in with all the Kinder classes and hosted a movie night to raise money for our field trip. We went early to help set up - luckily Mama knew how to run a popcorn machine! I helped for awhile.

One of my classmates was nice enough to share his blanket with me until Daddy and John got there with our chairs.

He even shared his snacks!

We watched Frozen and ate pizza and popcorn. It was really fun to see my friends outside of school!

The Trampoline by John Lee

We dug Denny's old trampoline out and it is just my size! I love jumping on it!

Animal Organization by John Lee

I love stuffed animals! I have so many, sometimes it is hard to find the one I want, so Mama decided to organize me! We got an over the door shoe rack and put all the animals that would fit in it.

I liked putting them all out where I could see them.

Now I just shut my door and find a favorite friend! The trick is remembering to put them back...

April Fools by John Lee

Mama played a trick on us for April Fool's Day! We were playing while she got dinner ready and she snuck around and sprayed Baxter BLUE!

He was outside when I noticed! I went to let him in and I shouted to Mama "Baxter is cold, he is turning blue!" Denny thought maybe Keebler had left magic to turn Baxter blue for April Fool's, but we finally figured out it had to be Mama!

We thought it was a good joke and just wished he would have stayed blue longer!

Spring Break Fun by Denny Lynn

I finally got my first real Spring Break! We were out of school, but Mama and Daddy still had to work, so we got to spend a few days at Grandma and Grandpa's! As usual, we had it made in the shade!

We played baseball...

...and rode out scooters.

We got to help Grandpa build a chick box and pick out baby chicks!

We loved getting to name them all - we named them Lilly, Floppsy, Moppsy, Cottontail and John.

Then we helped get the garden going.

It was a fun visit! We hung out with Ma and Pa and enjoyed not having to be on a schedule.

Time to go back to Mama and Daddy always comes too soon!
