Happy Valentine's Day! I am always excited to make treats for everyone - mostly becasue it usually involves candy that I can eat while I work! This year I fixed sand toys (a scoop and a rake) with some candy for all my friends. I worked really hard getting all that candy in so Mama could tie up the bags.
My tags said "I dig you". It is a good thing I am so hansome.
I enjoyed all the cards and treats from family! We are so blessed to be loved so much!
Then it was party time at church! We went to the Westfalls' and I got to chase their cats and play with Beau! It was a really fun way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
And then, party time! I like matching the chocolate kisses - I could name the shapes and the colors, and Mama or Darcy caught me each time I tried to eat one, so we got to keep playing.
I worked very hard on my sock puppet monster and gave him Valentine kisses! No scary monsters on Valentine's Day!
I liked shooting Cupid's arrow - we put Qtips in a straw and blew them into a bowl. I was pretty good as long as I didn't shove my Qtip up to far.
I was excellent at splatting the marshmallows on the paper - and even better at eating marshmallows!
I gave out my treats and everyone really liked them! It was a great party. I am so glad I had Valentine fun with my friends!

Happy Valentine's Day by Denny Lynn
I love a holiday - especially a holiday that involves making treats and playing games! This year I made sweet Valentine's for my freinds.
We rolled up washclothes and made them look like lollipops. It was hard work! Then we added some body wash and tada - a fun and useful gift! I was very proud of them.
We got lots of goodies from Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa. There where also some from Mama and Daddy!
We got to go to the church Valentine's party. I helped make the snack mix.
There were lots of yummy treats. My favorite part was playing with the Westfalls' cats!
Finally, it was time for out school party. We played matching with chocolate kisses. They have different colored shapes we had to match.
Then we made Valentine sock puppets - these were hugging monsters, not scaring monsters!
We practiced our Cupid skills by shooting our "arrows" (Qtips) from our "bows" (straws) by blowign them into a bowl. It was hard, but we practiced and practiced!
Then we played splat with heart shaped marshmallows. We have to throw them and "splat" them onto the paper. We really liked this, but we liked eating them more!
Then it was time to share our treat! I gave out my lollipops.
And, I got wonderful Valentine's from all my friends! Another successful Valentine's Day!
The Great Boot Clean Up by Denny Lynn
We like boots in my family. We work hard around animals and our boots get dirty. When it is time to clean them I am ready and willing to help Daddy out! First you have to clean them real good with soap, then you oil them.
I did mine and helped with some of Daddy's. It is important to take good care of your stuff. I am glad I can help out!

Happy Birthday, Denny by John Lee
I am so glad Denny got older! Grandma & Grandpa came over and we all went to Chuck E Cheese! I helped show Grandpa the ropes!
We had sausage pizza of course - my favorite!
Then on Saturday, it was party time! Denny has a fireman birthday party. I think I will have a fireman party next time - it was lots of fun!! We got to make our own firefighter vests and hats!
Everything was red, black and yellow. I like the yellow best!
I liked working with Kaydee on my hat!
We had fun games, like race around the hydrant - I really liked the big hat!
We uses a hose to make shapes - that was fun, but pretending to shot people with the hose was more fun!!
We had a great time with family and friends! I hope we can have another birthday soon, even if Denny gets all the presents. Mama makes him share anyway!

Happy Birthday to ME! by Denny Lynn
I was waiting and waiting and finally it was my birthday!! We had a special night a Chuck E Cheese to celebrate that I am four years old! Grandma and Grandpa came, too.
It was really fun and I won the most tickets ever!
I used some of them for vampire teeth and other cool stuff. I loved getting to party with Chuck E!
I helped finish up my cake for the big day!
It came out pretty good. It was a firestation with real firetrucks and a helicopter.
We also had graham cracker firetrucks that everyone could make themselves!
I got to try out my rocket launcher with Uncle Shawn before he left!
And I used my maps from Ms. Linda to find my way to lunch for the day. I have been able to play with everything! I am so very blessed to have so many friends and wonderful family! I am very glad to be a four year old!

We made special hats and fireman vests out of paper plates and brown paper bags. I liked the duct tape best!
You have to have games at a party! We ran around the fire hydrants like running barrels. It was way fun and I was really fast!
Then we made shapes out of a hose like a real team of firemen! When it was time for cake, Mama, Daddy and John helped me blow out my candles!
I got so many fun and special presents! I have loved playing with them all. The best present was having my friends there to celebrate with me!I got to try out my rocket launcher with Uncle Shawn before he left!
