It's Good to Have a Brother by John Lee

I like having a brother, and he likes me most of the time! Grandma and Grandpa got us these great shirts so everyone will know we go together. Denny likes to read his to remember that he is the "Big" broghter. Just wait and see - when the Turner Boys put their heads together there won't be anything we can't do! ( I think Daddy and Uncle Jeff need shirts like this, too!)

Hat Baby by John Lee

I like to wear hats (soemtimes) especially Daddy's hat! Brother likes to put it on me - before you know it it will fit just right!

Tractor Driving by Denny Lynn

So tractor driving is hard work. You have to get your wagon hitched up and try to remember left and right. Soemday I hope to give John a ride in the wagon while I drive the tractor. Imagine how much work it would be to drive a tractor without Daddy's help!

A Day at the Zoo by John Lee

So, we went to the zoo to celebrate Emmalee's birthday. It was pretty fun. I like to be outside and Mama was there. I saw a few animals and took a couple of naps. Mostly I went for a ride. Just wait until I am bigger and they will have to chase me all over the zoo, too!

A Day at the Zoo by Denny Lynn

To celebrate Emmalee's birthday we took a trip to the zoo. Mama even took the afternoon off to go with us. We saw lots of fun stuff and had a really good time. Even though we brought a crew of monkeys, I liked the ones at the zoo.

I liked all the animals - we could get right up to the fences and talk to them!

We even lined up for a picture. I wanted to hold baby John, but someone else had to take the photo because Mama didn't trust me enough to back up to take it herself!

I especially liked the javelinas. I jumped right up and said "Hi, Pig". They ran away, but I know they would love to go home with me and play with Nolie and Oscar.
We aslo saw wolves, bears, elephants, crocodiles, birds, a sealion, prairie dogs and lots of others. In the end we stopped to pose on the elephant statue! Good luck getting a photo of six kids under four.
We did better of me by myself. I can't wait to go back to the zoo!

An Apple a Day by Denny Lynn

So I don't eat an apple everyday - I prefer bananas - grapes are pretty great, too! Yesterday I found this shiny red apple and ate it all by myself - Mama didn't even have to cut it. It was yummy. I know I am growing up because I can eat an apple like a big boy!

Bubba Loves Me by John Lee

My big brother is pretty great. He loves me and helps take care of me. He hates it when I cry. He helps push my swing and serenades me with his harmonica.

He even lets me ride on his shoulders around the house like a big kid!
